James Banks, Instructor
James is a law enforcement officer with a federal agency. He has served his country as an infantry paratrooper in the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, America's Guard of Honor. ALL AMERICAN!!! His experience includes basic and advanced firearms, self-defense, and tactical training from multiple civilian, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, including multiple certifications from DHS (Department of Homeland Security), OPOTA (Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy), PPCT (Pressure Point Control Tactics), and the USCCA (United States Concealed Carry Association). James is an Instructor with his Agency, a certified semi-automatic pistol, patrol rifle, and shotgun Instructor through OPOTA (Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy), a certified Instructor with the USCCA, a certified Instructor and Range Safety Officer with the NRA and an Instructor with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia. He has operated on fugitive, gang, and violent criminal task forces, and is currently assigned to a street team arresting those that prey on the community. James is a current Medina County Representative for the OTOA (Ohio Tactical Officers Association). He loves to serve and has served the people of the United States for over eighteen years. |
